It’s the time of year I send out our annual ministry report celebrating the impact of our mission. And pray God will continue to move in hearts to support us financially for another year.

I have learned to live by faith these past 15 years, but I still need to tell the stories, communicate the need, and ask people to come alongside our ministry. A full report will be coming out shortly, but I wanted to share this word from a student to drive home why I do this teaching outreach:

“I have been going through some STUFF this last year, and so much of it revolved around being hurt and experiencing the world’s brokenness firsthand and directed at me in a way I never had to before… I just wanted to thank you for your class. You got to me, or God did through you, in a way that nothing else had and gave a flicker of hope back to my desperate heart. So, thank you.” 

My prayer as I go about as a Happy Sower casting the seed of the gospel all over the place is that some of it will land on soil like this and God will use me to give “a flicker of hope back to a desperate heart.” Praise Jesus!
