Jeremy Berg is a pastor, professor, author and musician, blending a professor’s mind, a pastor’s heart and an artist’s creativity. In 2010, Jeremy and his wife, Keri, founded MainStreet Covenant Church in his hometown of Mound, MN, where he continues to serve. Prior to church planting, Jeremy was youth pastor at Faith Covenant Church (Burnsville, MN) and visionary leader of the Revolution youth movement at Bethel Methodist Church (Mound, MN).

Jeremy is an adjunct professor of Bible and theology, and has taught classes at Bethel University, University of Northwestern, North Central University, Crown College, and Solid Rock School of Discipleship. He earned his doctorate from Northern Seminary under renowned New Testament scholar Scot McKnight where his research focused on wisdom and pedagogy in the ancient world. He contributed a chapter to Wise Church: Forming a Wisdom Culture in Your Local Church (2021). He holds a master’s degree from Bethel Seminary, St. Paul, and is an ordained minister in the Evangelical Covenant Church.

Jeremy is a prolific writer with 40+ self-published books, and host of the Anchor Podcast featuring on-the-go spiritual wisdom and Biblical reflections. Recently, Jeremy has been developing his music repertoire and performing at pubs, fundraisers, and senior living facilities across the Twin Cities. He gets his talented kids involved whenever possible.

Jeremy and his wife Kjerstin (Keri) have three kids, ten chickens, two barn cats and an occasional rabbit. He enjoys jangly guitars, sparkling beverages, the smell of old books, DJ-ing at the Little League field, and endless hours on his lawn tractor. In a previous life, Jeremy was the all-time leading scorer in basketball at his high school and 2025 inductee into the Athletic Hall of Fame. These days he prefers golf, but will still challenge anyone to a 3-point shootout.
