Any Office fans out there?  My wife and I make this our 30 minutes of must-see comedy each week.  If you are an Office fan, you probably have realized that it’s hard to put your finger on exactly why you can’t get enough of this kind of humor.  It is a character-driven show for sure.  Each character’s traits and quirks are all magnified to the point of absurdity — and it’s hilarious.  Who’s your favorite Office character and why?

Lane Palmer from  Dare 2 Share Ministries loves Dwight the best.  Check out his interesting post called “Dwight Is to the Office What Christians are to the World.”  Do you agree with his assessment?  When I read that title I was anticipating that he was going to warn us against being Dwight-ish as we engage the world with the gospel.  Isn’t Dwight often portrayed as a heartless, rigid, unbending, self-serving, power-hungry, arrogant, primitive legalist?  Palmer instead highlights some positive characteristics of Dwight we should emulate.  I think Palmer makes some good points, but I think we can find a better role model for Christians on TV.  Or can we?
