I love The Colbert Report.  Colbert recently drilled Bart Ehrman on his latest book Jesus, Interrupted: Revealing the Hidden Contradictions in the Bible (And Why We Didn’t Know About Them).  Ehrman, a well-known professor of religious studies at UNC at Chapel Hill and pastor-turned-atheist has quickly become one of the most outspoken critics of the Christian faith.  He is marshaling all of his scholarly energy to write book after book attempting to undermine faith in Jesus, the Bible and God.  Ben Witherington has recently written a book-length critical review on his this book at his blog — where I also found this Colbert clip.  Enjoy!
