The Josiah Smith Band have been a special part of my season of ministry at Fusion.  They have been part of nearly all of our Fusion retreats and have left an impact on our group with their music and their sincere love of our students.

One neat moment was when Josiah came to our morning session at our Fusion Rockstar Retreat ’08 and said he wanted to try out a fresh song he had just written the previous night after our evening session.  He said we had helped inspire him to write what became “With Open Hands.”

Two years later the song is fully recorded and they have just produced a beautiful evangelistic music video to be used to observe and celebrate the sacrifice of our savior on Good Friday.  Please check out this wonderful song — inspired by Fusion!
