Buckhorn Log Cabin Escape

We headed north for the weekend with friends. Beautiful log cabin with rustic charm and comfortable leather couches to read on by the fireplace. A little bit of snowshoeing, a lot of munching and sipping, some sauna time, watched the comedic blast from the past “The Three Amigos” (you have to be in the right mood).

I dug into the new biography “Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy” by Eric Metaxas, and am enjoying it so far. We teased a stuffed bear and put together a puzzle.

Perfectly lazy two nights in the woods with Graham and Jessica, Neil and Brea, and two new babies on the way this spring and summer (Neve’s and Berg’s).
