A friend shared this with me. This is very cute, well-done, and the message is…well…perhaps the best message we can muster up without Jesus anywhere in view. (Note: I’ve only viewed the first 4 videos…so maybe (please God) it takes a radically Christ-centered turn in the end away from tapping into our own “santa within.”) …But wasn’t the Advent calendar supposed to lead us eventually to the manger and the Savior’s birth?  We’ll have to see where we end up on Christmas day in Santaville. :)

The part that bugs me the most is the “santa in you” mantra…as this is almost a direct subversion of our greatest treasure as Christians:

“God wanted his people throughout the world to know the glorious riches of this mystery — which is Christ in you, giving you the hope of glory” (Col. 1:27).
