Every young man asks will I be good
at that thing known as fatherhood?
They have to want to protect
and make a lasting effect.
It’s more than raising someone frail
but blazing for them a trail.
When they are in search,
it’s about raising them in the church.
Their children and wife
come first in their life.
That’s how a godly father rolls,
especially one who cares about his kids’ souls.
I challenge all current and future fathers to step up,
take this holy cup,
and break the chains of the past,
for you are your children’s first impression, not their last.
