In Exodus 17, Moses raised his arms (and staff) up high while Joshua fought on the front lines. As long as Moses’ arms were raised up, they had the advantage. Whenever he lowered his arms, the enemy gained ground. Likewise, people of faith today need to be raising our arms up in prayer for those fighting the coronavirus. Lives depend on whether or not God’s people pray.
