What message does a father preach at his firstborn’s baptism? Well, if his name is Peter, he loves adventurous sea stories, and desires to be a bold disciple, how about a sermon from Matthew 14:22-33?
On August 22 I shared the following sermon in Minnetonka Beach before having the awesome privilege of baptizing Peter Bjorn. This is a recorded version I did after the fact in my study, and NOT the more raw in-the-moment emotional version I did that day, which began with a few tears but I recovered quickly.
I have broken it up into two short podcast episodes. I envision Peter finding this recording years from now, and it being a small treasure his Pastor Daddy left behind. I am proud of that boy, and excited to see him living into the truths of this message. Enjoy!
