A Star leads us to Him.
Another star leads us onward in Him.
We’ve spent the past four Sundays at MainStreet Covenant contemplating the glory in the Manger and on the Mount of Transfiguration. We have also been following a fictional character named Amanda who is spending a holiday retreat at her Uncle Eli’s cozy log cabin on Mount Mystic. She has had some of her own mysterious experiences of God.
This Christmas Eve Amanda prepares to leave the magic of Mount Mystic to return to her everyday life. But hopefully she will bring with her the greatest gift of all. Come find out how Amanda’s story ends (or begins anew).
This has been a very fun and rewarding Advent sermon series for me to create, and I hope you have also gotten a taste of the magic and mystery — a sort of tingling pull “upward” as you’ve engaged with these sermons and Amanda’s story.
Join us 6:00pm for a candlelight service in the beautiful St. Martin’s Chapel for a Christmas Eve full of light and magic, awe and wonder.
