A space of welcome. A refuge from the storm. An oasis in the desert. A garden where faith, hope, and love can grow. These are some of the aspirations Keri and I have for our 3 acres on Applegarden Road. For 10 years, the MainStreet Covenant Church community has tasted of these realities as we have gathered Sunday evenings in our living room, on the deck, or by the fire pit.

Yet, we’ve been thinking … 

We’re enlarging the circle and hosting occasional gatherings for the neighborhood and friends to join us on the hill for live soulful music, words of hope, toe-tapping fun, and good-hearted Minnesota hospitality? We’re calling it Hope on the Hill.

Whether you already have a church or want nothing to do with church and religion, you are invited to refresh your spirit and renew your hope on the hill with us August 18 and 25 at 5-7pm! Bring a lawn chair or blanket. Beware: Chickens and banjos will be present.
