SAVE THE DATE! It’s really happening! Our break-out show is on the books, and we want all our friends and family to come pack the place!

Pete and I are forming a full band to rock the “Spring Fling” on Saturday, April 5 at 6-9PM at the Gillespie Center in Mound! Our 3-hour (!) show will feature special guests Jared King on drums, an appearance of Abby Berg on a song or two, while Peter will tickle the ivory, maybe strum a guitar and possibly break out the accordion. Yours truly will wield the guitars and possibly a banjo. The band is still being formed and we have about 40 songs to “master” in the next few weeks. :)

The “Spring Fling” is a fundraiser to help the Gillespie Center continue serving the community. Aside from BINGO on Thursday and Sunday, the main event is the Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday night (5-8PM) and our 3 hour show. Our concert will feature two different sets: (1) a 75-minute set performing the music of Bob Dylan and (2) popular cover songs spanning the decades and genres the second half of the night.

Let’s pack the place and have a blast. See details on the poster, help spread word, and purchase your tickets in advance to save a few bucks! If you can’t afford the dinner, you can just pay a $5 cover for the concert. BUT, the more funds we help raise at the dinner, the more money Peter might get for his college fund. ;)

As a neat aside, the night before we play our Bob Dylan show, Peter and I just purchased tickets to go see Bob Dylan himself in Mankato!
