I enjoyed meeting many St. Martin’s folks at the June 27 “Bible, Brats & Beer” and having the chance to share my backstory and call to ministry in my hometown. MainStreet Covenant Church is blessed to house our ministries at St. Martin’s and celebrate all the ways God is at work in both of our congregations.
Aside from the resources I handed out the other night, I wanted to share additional some links and resources to help folks get to know more about the Kingdom ministry efforts that are happening under your roof and beyond. A common theme during our time together was our shared love of local history, and I wanted to share a piece I wrote years ago on the “Spiritual History of Mound.” Unfortunately, my focus was strictly on Mound churches and so St. Martin’s isn’t mentioned. You still may enjoy it.
