Live Concert Tomorrow!

Introducing the band!

While I perform solo gigs all year round, once a year I get to rock out with a full band! Saturday night my friend Jared King and I will be performing at the Gillespie Center’s Spring Fling fundraiser from 7:00-9:30 in Mound, MN. This is fun on many levels, but the best part is making music with our kids.

The band features not one, but two high school bass guitarists — Jared’s daughter Maggie (16) and Claire Erickson (17) who will be alternating sets. Rocking the piano will be my son Peter (14), and possibly making an appearance is my daughter Abby (11) singing a song or two.

We’ll be covering songs by the Beatles, Dave Matthews Band, The Monkees, Neil Young, Van Morrison, Zac Brown, Buddy Holly, Springsteen, The Cure, Willie Nelson, Tom Petty, Neil Diamond, Counting Crows, Dylan, Elvis, Queen, Ed Sheeran, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Everly Brothers, Cat Stevens, and more!

If the stars all align, I will be debuting a “new” original song that’s been waiting 23 years to see the light of day. We’re gonna make a joyful noise and we hope you will join us if you’re in the area. We’ve had just 1.5 short rehearsals, so we’re kinda winging many of the songs (shhhh!). Below is a peek into a recent rehearsal for a foretaste of our shenanigans.

Spaghetti served 5:00-6:30 and music at 7:00-9:30 with $5.00 cover charge for the concert. See poster for more details.
