We had a great time Saturday night performing for local friends and family! Nothing better than making music with your kids, and these kids can rock.

A couple highlights for me included debuting a new original song based on a poem I wrote after my first date with Keri some 23 years ago. I hope to record it this summer. And bringing tears to a few eyes playing Ben Rector’s “The Richest Man in the World” which describes my life to a T. Here’s some of the lines:

When I get to heaven
And we’re lined up outside the pearly gates
While we’re all walking, small talking, mingling
