December and January are always peak reading months for me. Something about snowy weather, hot chocolate, fireplaces, and new books and Amazon Gift cards for Christmas seem to factor in. So, if you’re curious, here are the books I’m reading or have recently read. I especially enjoyed One.Life by McKnight. Peace.
After You Believe: Why Christian Character Matters by N. T. Wright
One.Life: Jesus Calls, We Follow by Scot McKnight
In His Steps by Charles Sheldon
LifeGiving Mentors: A Guide for Investing Your Life in Others by Tim Elmore
The City of God by Saint Augustine
Follow Me to Freedom: Leading as Ordinary Radicals by Shane Claiborne & John Perkins
Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians
Paul For Everyone: Ephesians by N. T. Wright
NEXT ON MY LIST:
Pastor by William Willimon
The Divine Commodity by Skye Jethani

Another great book is one that might surprise you: Invasion by Jon S. Lewis, recently published by Thomas Nelson. Although it’s written for teens, it teaches some great lessons about fighting against evil in this world. If you’re a youth pastor, it makes a great tool for getting kids talking about their faith in the face of great challenges. check out http://www.chaosnovels.com
